You just need to go all in.

If I were going to give myself advice before I went to college, after I graduated college, and at every crossroads in my life, I would say:
Get quiet and still enough to hear your heart. Listen to it. And go all in.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to make a move. It’s okay if you don’t know what the fuck you’re doing. PSA — no one knows what the fuck they are doing. But at least you can not know what the fuck you’re doing, doing something that BRINGS YOU JOY.
And if you listen to your heart, you will have an idea. Bring your idea into this world, keep your eyes on your own paper and
go
all
in.
Forget about what your family thinks. Don’t even ask your friends.
A wise and successful person once told me, “I don’t listen to advice from people I don’t want to be.”
If they haven’t done what you’re setting out to do, if they haven’t set out to do anything on their own at all — DON’T ASK THEM.
You don’t need permission to follow your heart.
&& If you must ask someone, find the people who have set out on their own. Reach out to them because I guarantee that they will be ready to have your back. Find your biggest supporters and support them too.
To do what you really want to do will be hard. It will be really hard sometimes. And it will be scary. But it will be worth it.
That’s it.
