visibility is not being the center of attention — it’s this 👇🏽

Being visible doesn't mean baring it all, all the time, just like being authentic doesn't mean sharing it all, all the time (or ever, btw).

Sometimes being visible means:

going to the climbing gym alone and for the first time, because you've always wanted to learn how to climb, but none of your friends were interested enough to join you.

asking for help when you need it, rather than trying to do everything on your own (and perfectly, at that).

telling someone what you really think vs. what you think they want to hear.

Visibility isn't the result of years in hiding, quietly working on your masterpiece.

Most of us think, I'll be visible when..

For example, People will really see me when I publish that book (that I am only half way working on and telling absolutely no one about). 

[or some variation of the above. And, no shade, we've all been there 👆🏽] 

but the truth is,

Visibility is having the courage to show up for yourself on a regular basis, despite the fear and reluctance.

Because the fear and reluctance to show up – it doesn't ever disappear. 

There is no milestone or marker for your validity to be who you want to be in this world.

The only requirement to be a writer is to write. It is not to be published or to win awards or to be fully financially supported by your writing. I repeat, the only requirement to be a writer is to write. 

And the only requirement to be who you want to be and to do the things that you want to do is for you to show up to them.

& that's what 👁VISIBILITY is all about. 

Because maybe your friends don't want to go to the climbing gym with you, or create vision boards, or train for that marathon, or learn a new language or spend every day of 2024 writing. 

Maybe your partner doesn't want to get into pottery or take dance class with you. 

But just because they don't, doesn't mean that you should keep waiting for your moment. 

And it most definitely doesn't mean that you shouldn't show up for yourself without support. 

👁VISIBILITY is your 2024 support system & inspirational overflow. 

You don't have to do it alone. 
But you do have do it. 
Show up for yourself fully in 2024.
